With our partner To Be Erasmus in Paris

This weekend getaway to Lille and Bruges is a Christmas market trip that will take place in December. We’re advertising a little early, but it’s never too soon to get into the Christmas spirit! You’ll also get to see a piece of French Flanders, a region with a distinct history and culture.

Programme Of Events:

You’ll leave from the usual spot, Porte Maillot, on the Saturday and make your way to Lille. There you’ll visit the old town, see the city’s Gothic cathedral, and La Vieille Bourse (the Old Stock Exchange). Naturally you’ll also get to see the Christmas markets on offer in Lille. After seeing the sights and checking into your hotel, you’re free to do what you please in the evening. Then the next day, you’ll make your way to…

Bruges! This Belgian city is the second stop on your tour. The itinerary is more flexible for this part of your journey because you’ll have a little bit of free time to explore the city and what’s on for Christmas. Bruges is actually called the ‘Venice of the North’ and is the capital of West Flanders. The city has lovey canals and red-brick buildings to discover. After spending some time in the city, you’ll make your way back to Paris where you should arrive at 9pm.

  • Departure : Saturday 1st December from Paris Porte Maillot at 10:30am (please be there 20 minutes before the coach leaves).
  • Arrival back in Paris : 9pm on Sunday 2nd December.
  • Included : transport, accommodation inc. breakfast, visitation taxes, visits to the Cathedral, the Vieille Bourse and the Christmas markets.
  • Not included : Personal expenses, visits to the beer museum, the boat tour, and meals.
