Join us as we delve into one of the most picturesque districts in Paris. From the famous Saint Germain des Près Church, one of the oldest in Paris, to the Luxembourg gardens, with prestigious institutions such as the School of Fine Arts and the French Institute dotted along the way, we will travel back in time, retracing the footsteps of philosophers and musicians of the twentieth-century Jazz scene.

In the Middle Ages, this suburb was created around the rich Saint Germain des Près Abbey, at the time located outside of Paris. It became part of the city in the nineteenth century. It has since become a district imbued with an undeniable charm, concealing a sense of mystery that never ceases to amaze and inspire artists, writers and musicians alike.
