Ouverture Gratuite Des Ateliers D’artistes Du Père Lachaise

Thursday 6th to Saturday 8th May

Why not take a trip to the 20ème arrondissement in Paris as you get the chance to appreciate the diversity of artistic expression and cultural exchange. This May an association of around 50 ateliers d’artistes open their studios for you to discover them in their true form. This open door weekend allows you into various artists’ studios and workshops around the Père Lachaise area.

Fête De L’europe 2017 – Concerts Et Débats

From the Monday 8th to the 14th May at various sites in Paris

While you are in Europe you may as well celebrate it! This event commemorates the 60th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome and will be a true festival of all things European. The theme this year is ‘Mobility’, something that is of central importance today. Enjoy free concerts including a surprise guest, a European debate hall and a European village where you can learn all about associations and policies related to Europe … a perfect combination of education and fun!

Concert: Jazz Au Féminin, Saint-germain-des-pres Jazz Festival

Saturday 13th May from 2.30pm to 5pm

Listed as part of the ‘discovery’ category in this years nationwide jazz festival the Concert Jazz au Feminin is a definite must see! For the ninth consecutive year, this festival devotes a day to women and the discovery of new talents of the jazz scene including performers, composers and instrumentalists alike. The programme for this year includes the bands ‘Standards and Bianca’ and ‘Kicca’.

Cannes International Film Festival

Wednesday 17th to Sunday 28th May

Head to the South for a bit of celebrity spotting as movie stars from far and beyond flock to France this May for the annual Cannes film festival. You can always also get invested in the film aspect of it too! Which films do you think will win this year?
