“the 4 Beat Rock” – An Introduction To French Rock ‘n’ Roll
Dance the French Rock ‘n’ roll – Thursday 5th November at 7:45pm
With the CIJP – Club International des Jeunes à Paris
Four beat Rock ‘n’ Roll is a French dance created in 1956 by Jacques Bense, who at the time was considered to be the greatest dance teacher in the world. The dance originated amongst the upper echelons of French society, consisting of young men and women of a certain social standard coming together, as was the role of the Waltz in its time.
Since the turn of the millennium, this dance has become renowned across France. This event, organised in association with Club Français de Rock à 4 Temps, will teach you a few basic moves, spins and drops to get truly into the Rock ‘n’ Roll spirit!
