Carnaval De Nice

16th February – 2nd March

Why not take a winter break and party at the Carnaval in Nice? This two-week festival will feature various parades and shows from performers all over the world.

Chinese New Year

5th – 17th February

Chinese New Year. The festivities don’t end in February! Take part in the Chinese New Year festivities by heading to the Mairie of the 13th arr. There are concerts and exhibitions as well as a grand parade on the 17th February.

Fête Du Citron

16th February – 3rd March

When life gives you lemons, celebrate them! The town of Menton will be holding their annual lemon festival to celebrate the importance of the fruit to the area. You’ll be able to see giant sculptures completely covered in lemons as well as enjoy parades and parties. This year’s theme is ‘Fantastical worlds’.

La Fête De L’ours

21st February

For the third year, Paris will be celebrating a festival dedicated to bears. It is usually only celebrated in villages in the Pyrénees but has recently caught on. You can expect bear-themed activities, a parade and even a “savage” dj set! There will also be a particular focus on Romania this year because it is the country with the largest bear population in Europe.

Doisneau Et La Musique

4th December – 28th April

An interesting exhibition because Doisneau wasn’t a musician, but rather a photographer. However he particularly photographed the musical scene in Paris for around 60 years from the 1930s onwards. His exhibition introduces you to famous French singers and jazz musicians of the time!
