Free Weekend At The Musée Du Quai Branly – 15th & 16th October

The Musée du Quai Branly will be exceptionally opening its doors for free to celebrate its new programme for 2016/2017. This special weekend will be hosted by the modern and contemporary African-American painter “The Color Line”, featuring 150 years of political art, the fight against segregation and the silence imposed on black culture.

The Marie de Paris offers you the chance to discover all things 100% Parisian. Made in Paris is a celebration of artists and visionaries who continue to base themselves in Paris, as well as a chance to acknowledge sellers and restaurateurs alike who recommend and advocate local produce.

‘m ‘at Cité De La Musique

From 4th October until 29th January 2017

Cité de la Musique will be hosting a striking hybrid-homage to the British photographer Martin Parr and the composer Matthieu Chedid. Watch as the burst of colour of Martin Parr harmonises with the magical melodies of Matthieu Chedid. Presented for the first time in Arles in 2015, the exposition will be taking to the stage in Paris.

Oscar Wilde Exhibition At The Petit Palais

From 28th September to 15th January 2017

The Petit Palais is proud to be presenting the first exhibition in France dedicated to the acclaimed writer, Oscar Wilde. Although the Irish author died in Paris, the centenary of his death was not acknowledged in the capital. This exhibition promises to retrace his life and work through more than 200 artefacts, drawings, manuscripts and more.
