TRADITIONAL

The Fête des Vendanges at Montmartre, from 7th to 11th October

The Fête des Vendanges at Montmartre dates back to 1934, created to celebrate the rich history of this area of Paris. For decades, the Mairie du 18e funded this weekend but in 2007 it was decided that this event should involve the entire arrondissement. As such, this celebration has since become an artistic and cultural spectacle, taking place the second weekend of October in many squares across the eighteenth arrondissement.
