From Wednesday to Friday from 7pm to 11pm and on Saturday and Sunday from 5pm to 11pm.

Put on your dancing shoes and enjoy an evening of Latin and Tropical dances on the quays of the Seine, all for free. Get your chance to try out many different styles of Latin dance from Salsa to Bachata to Kizomba, there are so many to choose from!

Free exhibition of the paintings and drawings of Joaquin Ferrer

The exhibition has been running from 30th May and finishes on the 9th September 2017. Monday to Friday from 10am to 8pm and Saturday from 2pm to 6pm.

Born in 1928 in Cuba, Ferrer has lived in France since 1960. Ferrer first exhibited in Paris in 1968. During the time of violence and student protest, he showed originality in his abstract pieces that noticeably did not feature or incite violence, contrary to many of his contemporaries. Discover a collection of his paintings and drawing currently exhibited at La Maison de l’Amerique Latine in the 7th arrondissement in Paris.

Exhibition ‘HUMAN’ by Yanns Arthus-Bertrand at the Domaine de Longchamp

From Wednesday to Friday from 12 to 7pm and Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 7pm.

Take a trip into the depths of the human soul as this exhibition invites you to explore the concept of being human and all the emotions that come with it. This free exhibition at the Domaine de Longchamp, ‘HUMAN’ by Yann Arthus-Bertrand showcases his collection of more than 2000 photographs of people from 60 different countries. These portraits and insightful interviews with their subjects will have you thinking about the concept of humanity and its adaption and relevance in today’s society.

Swimming pool at the Bassin de la Villette

As part of the Paris Plages scheme that has already been set up in various locations across Paris, this year has seen the cleaning out of one of Paris’ basins to make way for a glorious outdoor swimming pool in the 19th arrondissement. Grab your swimming costume and head down for a dip!

CINÉMA EN PLEIN AIR 2017

The first screening at La Villette was on the 20th July

As the temperature rises and the nights grow longer, the summer season is truly here and with this comes an abundance of outdoor cinema events in Paris. What could be better than seeing your favourite film on the big screen whilst enjoying a beautiful summer sunset? There are plenty of different options and screenings in various locations, make sure to check out the programme at La Villette! Remember to take some popcorn (and maybe some sun-cream too!)

Concert: Blue Dahlia at the Champ de Mars!

Sunday 20th August at 3pm

This small American folk band have come all the way from Brooklyn, New York to sing for you in Paris. They will be playing their songs in both French and English under the Eiffel Tower so head down to enjoy their beautiful melodies in an amazing setting.
