Working Abroad in France

“I was living in Paris because I was offered a student dorm to stay in. I applied to be an Instructor because I was moving out here to go to university, and I wanted to get some experience working abroad as well as some extra spending money.

Babylangues accepted me pretty quickly, and they seemed to be efficient in getting me assigned to a family quickly as well. They help customize the family to suit what you are looking for, and you get fun materials to work with the kids with.

If you want to get set up with a French family you should check out Babylangues. I have learned to be a lot more responsible and I think it helped me with my understanding of French. I had sessions with a little girl for the whole day, and I got to take her to a museum, and so that was really fun!

My expectations were to learn more French, finish my courses, get job experience, and to experience the culture, and they were met! I felt that I got a better understanding of how typical French families looked like and how they lived, and talking with the children almost everyday helped improve my understanding of the language.”
